Introduction:

The Whistleblowers, Activists and Journalists Safety International Center (WAJSIC) is inviting journalists, whistleblowers and human rights defenders in distress from every part of Ghana, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Liberia and Sierra Leone to submit their applications for temporary support in secured shelters.

WAJSIC offers comprehensive support for a period of up to 3 months, including:

* A secure shelter in Accra and other parts of Ghana

* Amenities including Internet access, light and water supply

* Medical Care and Psychosocial Therapy support

* An appreciable Stipend to cover food, other groceries and local travel expenses

* Capacity Building and Training opportunities for residents, as per the scheduling of workshops

* Assistance with Reintegration, Relocation and Repatriation after the 3-month stay

This call is aimed at supporting those facing threats, violence or significant risks in Ghana, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Liberia and Sierra Leone. If you are a journalist, whistleblower or human rights defender in distress, we encourage you to apply for this program.
