A three-day training on investigative journalism and safety concluded in Accra on May 14, 2026, for residents supported by The Whistleblowers, Activists and Journalists Safety International Center (WAJSIC). The workshop was supported by the Netherlands Embassy in Ghana and the Open Society Foundation (OSF).

For the journalists, whistleblowers, and activists living in WAJSIC safe houses across Ghana, danger is the reason they fled. But a five-day training administered by the Lazarus Training group, alongside Tiger Eye and supporters including the Open Society Foundation and the Netherlands Embassy Ghana, has given them something long denied: the skills to fight back, escape, and survive.
The Embassy of the Netherlands in Ghana has paid a working visit to the Whistleblowers, Activists and Journalist Safety International Center (WAJSIC) in Accra to gain a deeper understanding of the organization's work in protecting activists and journalists across the region.
